Leaked Video of Google Pixel 3 Lite Shows Main Specs and a Headphone Jack

The past few months have been filled with rumors and leaks from Google’s mid-range smartphones – the Lite variants from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

Both Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL have allegedly got their specs leaked on the internet in a video showing a pre-production model of the Pixel 3 Lite.

Google Pixel 3 Lite Specs

The video posted on the YouTube channel Andro News got removed from YouTube, but it was recovered and re-uploaded by mobile.com. It shows a review of the Pixel 3 Lite and confirms many of the specs rumored and reported previously.

As you can see from the screenshot provided below, the Pixel 3 Lite will have a plastic body instead of a glass and metal one on the Pixel 3. But the video shows a glass tinge on the upper half and a yellow power button. The rear panel sports a generic logo because it is a sample.

The front of the phone looks similar to the Pixel 3 – it has thick bezels on the bottom and top and it doesn’t come with a dual selfie camera and neither with a front firing speaker in the bottom. Looking at the base, we saw a USB-C port and two mono speakers.

The top sports a 3.5mm audio jack, which doesn’t appear in the premium Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL.

Looking at the specs delivered in the video, the phone will come with 4 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670. It will have the same camera features like the Pixel 3 but without the spectral and flicker sensor between the flash and the camera.

The other specs provided are: a 5.5-inch 2160 x 1080 LCD panel, internal storage of 32GB, and Android 9.0 OS, and a 2,915 mAh battery.

The video also stated that the Pixel 3 Lite variants would be launched at the annual I/O developer conference. Meanwhile, previous reports hinted that the Pixel 3 variants would be launched next month at MWC 2019.

What we want to see if the mid-range Pixel 3 will prove to be the best budget phones this year.
