iPhone X – Motorola’s Clone Coming To The States

Just recently, last month, Motorola announced their plans which included releasing two new Android One devices for the international markets. Those are the Moto One and One Power. What is interesting is that both phones look remarkably similar to the iPhone X. Also, both of them come with three years of promised security updates.

When?

It is unlikely that either of the two phones will manage to get in the United States market, but Motorola has stated that the regular Moto One will be available for purchase from Best Buy starting with the 9th of November.

Specs

Moto One, the Motorola model that is coming to the United States, will come equipped with a Snapdragon 625 processor, 4 GB of RAM, an LCD screen with 5.9 inches and 720 x 1520 resolution, 64 GB of storage that can be further expanded, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

When it comes to the Android version, we must say that we were disappointed to find out the fact that it still ships with Android 8.0 Oreo. However, its designers told us that updates to Pie and Android Q are planned.

Bad side

The matters are made worse by this factor: the Moto One only works on GSM networks. This is surprising, especially if we remember that most of the company’s devices can work with both GSM and CDMA carriers, even the Moto E5 that is priced below 100 dollars.

Last words

The Moto One will apparently cost $399 in the United States, a price that doesn’t seem so great, really. You could get a Nokia 7.1 and still pay 50 dollars less. Nokia 7.1 would provide you a better processor and a screen with a higher resolution.

Those that really want to buy the Moto One should know that it will be available from the 9th of November, from Best Buy.
