Google Play Store for Android TV 13.5.61 Update is Now Available

Everyone who uses an Android powered smart TV knows just how useful the Google Play Store can be. This platform is used by Android fans in order to download apps and games on smartphones, but its role is even more important on smart TVs. The reason why smart TVs are so popular lately is because they make it possible for users to stream high-resolution movies and TV shows through premium apps such as Netflix and HBO Go instead of having to sit through countless ads in order to watch a show on cable TV. However, this all wouldn’t be possible without the help of the Google Play Store.

Google Play Store for Android TV 13.5.61 APK

Android users who own a smart TV should be happy to know that the Android parent has recently released a new update for the smart TV version of the Google Play Store. Considering the fact that the Google Play Store is the service which makes it possible for smart TV users to download all their favorite apps and games, we think it’s safe to say that the new update is a high priority download.

The latest update for the Google Play Store sports the 13.5.61 version number and it is available in the form of APK. This means that smart TV users who want to get their hands on the latest bug fixes and software tweaks that the new update brings need to do it manually. Yes, we know having to manually download updates is annoying but this is the only way to install APK updates which are released weeks ahead of the official OTA (over the air) rollout.

Verdict

On the other hand, we have to note that smart TV users are not required to manually download the update if they aren’t experienced with installing APK updates. Google is eventually going to roll it out OTA during the upcoming weeks.
