The Galaxy M51 could be the Samsung phone with the largest battery

A successor to last year’s M31, the Galaxy M51 retains the recipe for using a generous capacity battery. With the newly launched M31s model, the M51 adds an even more spacious screen.

Identified by the model name SM-M515F / DSN, the Samsung Galaxy M51 appears on the website of the Wi-Fi Alliance, the authority responsible for certifying wireless communications equipment, along with a partial list of specifications.

According to details not directly confirmed by Samsung, the phone will come with a very generous 7000 mAh battery. Used in combination with a not very pretentious configuration, it could lead the autonomy to more than 5 days in normal use conditions.

If the rumors are confirmed, this will be the Samsung phone with the highest battery capacity launched so far, surpassing the predecessor Galaxy M31s delivered with a “only” 6000 mAh battery.

According to the preliminary list of specifications, Galaxy M51 is a 6.5-inch SuperAMOLED phone provided by China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT). This is the Infinity-O type and comes with a perforation for the centrally aligned front camera.

The phone would come equipped with the Snapdragon 730 mid-range chipset, helped with 8GB of RAM. The configuration will include at least 128GB of internal memory, expandable by attaching a microSD card. The main camera could be a 64MP model with wide-angle lenses, seconded by an ultra-wide module with 12MP resolution.

Delivered with a 25W AC adapter in the accessory package, the Samsung Galaxy M51 could have an official launch in September.
