Asus Zenfone 6 Is Getting Android Q Update

While many new phones are using the pop-up camera to have a full-screen display, with Asus Zenfone 6, the company is bringing an exciting innovation – a flip camera mechanism that allows you to take selfies with the main camera. The rotation of the Liquidmetal camera is controlled by a stepper motor that allows users to stop midway and take pictures at interesting angles besides automatic panoramas.

Asus Zenfone 6 Is Getting Android Q Update

  • Camera super night mode & HDR+ Enhanced mode (HDR++) performance improvement on image quality and processing speed
  • Auto brightness sensor
  • Added volume key functions to control flip camera rotation
  • Volume key use as “Shutter, Zoom, Flip camera.”
  • Enable MTS Volte/VoWifi, Taiwan Mobile Volte and KDDI/ Docomo/SBM Volte
  • Improve camera rotation stability
  • Usage of the smart key as a shutter to take pictures in camera mode

Already enrolled in Android Q Beta program, Asus Zenfone 6 will also be one of the first phones to be updated to Android Q once will be announced. Android Pie 9 is also upgradable to Android R on Asus Zenfone 6, however, until now, there is no information on any Android R updates. Available on Asus eShop, the Asus Zenfone 6 price starts at EUR 499 for the 6GB + 64GB going up to 6GB + 128 GB retailing at EUR 559 and finally EUR 599 for 8GB + 256GB.
