UC Browser Now has a Dedicated Video Section Available to Download

UC Browser has been recently updated and lots of new and enjoyable features have been added.

A redesigned UI makes every function easier to use and more accessible. Users are now able to select a preferred festival theme that can be displayed on the homepage.

One of the most interesting highlights is the addition of a dedicated video section that can be found on the homepage toolbar. In this section, you can find a variety of short videos that can be played or downloaded. Users that want to share a funny video with their friends are able to do so by tapping on smartly-placed WhatsApp button placed near the bottom of the video.

The old video tab has been split in two new sections named ‘’UC Show’’ and ‘’Recommend’’. The UC Show lists vertical videos and the Recommend tab features videos optimized for horizontal viewing. According to UCWeb the UC Shows videos can be played without buffering on a speedy Wi-Fi connection.

The UC News Feed has been revamped and now provides a customized selection of content that focuses on a series of trendy topics like cricket, politics and entertainment.

In order to attract new users, the update also introduces an interesting promotional campaign called ‘’Find Diyas, Win Prizes’’ which offers users the chance to win UCoins and a variety of different prizes. The UC Centre has also been updated and the rewards for those that like to read, share and comment on news have been increased.  Users that opt to achieve tasks that require them to search, view a particular website, play a video, create a bookmark or download advertised content will also receive a reward of five UCoins per task. In order to receive the rewards you will need to sing in to the UC Centre with a UC Account or a social network account.

The update is now available for download on Google Play. Keep in mind that it will only run on devices that use Android 4.0 or above.
