Oneplus 6T OxygenOS 9.0.4 Software Update Brings Several New Additions, November Security Patch

OnePlus 6T users have begun to receive the OxygenOS 9.0.4 software. As you already know, this OS is based on Android. For this version specifically, Android 9.0 Pie OS was used. There are multiple new features and the update also brings the November security patch. Let’s take a closer look.

Camera improvements

The camera gets a couple of improvements with this new update. For example, there are some enhancements for Nightscape. This means that, even when there is low-light, your photos should look good. Additionally, face contour was improved thanks to Studio Lighting.

System

If we take a look at the update log we can also see some System changes. For example, OxygenOS 9.0.4 comes with new navigation gestures. There are also the usual bug fixes and improvements. The standby power consumption was optimized and Screen Unlock received some improvements.  Finally, we can see that the Android security patch has been updated to 2018.11.

OnePlus 6T

OnePlus 6T owners get OxygenOS 9.0 when they purchase their phone. This OxygenOS version is based on Android Pie. OnePlus 6T is available on the market and there are three different models for it: one with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, one with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and another one with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

You should also know that the OnePlus 6T phone comes with a  6.41-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU.

When it comes to the cameras, the front one is a  dual rear setup- 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel cameras with f/1.7 aperture, while the frontal one is a 6-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
